About ON THE MOVE
Liz Lane & Carleen Weber have been traveling in the Greater St. Louis area leading holistic wellness and fitness classes since 2013. Reaching a wide range of age groups from children to seniors, as well as various levels of fitness ranging from gentle movers to athletes, Liz & Carleen engage participants in highly motivating mind.body classes that feel good inside and out. Blending powerful movements from Martial Arts, fun and free movements from Dance Arts, and seeking balance through Healing Arts such as Yoga, is simply a glimpse into these total body conditioning classes. Your experience will stimulate the mind, condition the body, ignite your unique spirit, and release healthy emotions. Barefoot movements are set to worldly music to amp up the fun factor and promote relaxation. Three levels of intensity are modeled while encouraging each individual to seek their greatest potential at their own pace. Liz & Carleen are continuously inspired by the positive transformations that take place in this sustainable, holistic practice that lasts a lifetime!
Meet the Instructors
Liz Lane received her holistic wellness and fitness instructor license in the Nia Technique® in 2012. In addition, she holds an MS Degree in Elementary Education, BS Degree in Elementary Education, and Major in Dance and Theater Arts. Liz has been instructing mind.body fitness classes for 7 years. Combining her 9+ years of elementary teaching experience and extensive background in performing arts through dance, choreography, and instruction, Liz enjoys leading mindful movement classes in a fun, expressive way that promotes pleasure through purposeful movement and creative imagery.
Carleen Weber received her holistic wellness and fitness instructor license in the Nia Technique® in 2011. She holds an additional license as a Clinical Social Worker. Carleen has been instructing mindful movement classes for 8 years. Her social work experience is the perfect blend for her love of movement, fun, and psychological well-being. Carleen’s movement style is easy to follow and brings out the natural beauty and joy of living in our body. As facilitator, counselor, and friend, her dynamic approach to delivering holistic balance of mind.body.spirit leaves you wanting more.
