Churches often have fellowship programs for everything under the sun ranging from food pantries, bible studies, faith-based youth groups and more! What they are discovering is the value of offering quality, holistic fitness programs for the community. The social aspect of gathering together in mind-body wellness and fitness is powerful! While conditioning the whole-being (mind-body-spirit-emotions) holistic fitness programs have been highly successful in churches as an extension to faith-based groups. Quality church fitness programs also offer the ideal setting for participants to address serious problems they may have in their life through guided purposeful movement and inspirational music within a welcoming community. Many times, the relief of movement's non-verbal communication is the key to releasing stifled feelings and emotions that have been deeply tucked away. It's a sense of freedom, letting go, and new beginnings!

"For every physical response there's a feeling. As you open up parts of your body, you may tap into feelings you've locked deep inside. Movement is wonderful therapy in this way."
~ Nia® co-founders, Debbie Rosas and Carlos AyaRosas
